Welcome Volunteers

The Florida Horse Park is seeking volunteers for the upcoming 2007-2008 season.  With opportunities for every interest and skill set, we encourage you to get involved!  As a Florida Horse Park Volunteer, you’ll inspire wonder, create awareness about equestrian life and its history and get to be a part of some of the most exciting equestrian competitions in the world.

Volunteer Opportunities

Opportunities Throughout the Year

With over 40 events at the Park each year, the Florida Horse Park understands the value of great volunteers who help enhance and enrich the visitors’ experience. Over 500 volunteers contributed their time, talents and energy last year to make the Florida Horse Park’s events and programs successful. Our past volunteers enjoyed themselves so much that they continue to volunteer and have become an integral part of what is special about the Florida Horse Park.

Volunteers are regularly needed to assist Park staff on a daily basis and are vitally important when the Park plays host to world-class events.

The duties vary from helping in the offices, interacting with the public, to getting involved in helping competitions run smoothly. It all depends on what you prefer. There is something for everyone here!   Food will be provided for volunteers and you will receive a hat or shirt for your time and energy!

Who Can Volunteer?

Volunteers must be at least 16 years old or have parental/guardian consent. No horse experience is needed. All volunteers must undergo a short briefing and a simple course of instruction.
